Henri`s Cafe in Oxnard

Cool retro diner. The service was quick and friendly. The food was standard breakfast . I would definitely eat here again. Gets really busy on Sundays so get there early

Delicous food and definitely a bang for your buck. Highly recommend the french toast, pancakes, and house fries absolutely amazing. Thank you for attending us at 8pm!

The service was great,the wait for food was great not long at all and came out hot and very tasty. My server kept my coffee coming and fresh! Will be bringing my family!

Terrible food. The service was fine, but there was multiple hairs in our biscuits and gravy, as if it was dropped on the floor before it was served. I ordered a Denver omelette and the egg was overcooked to the point where it was burnt and dry. I asked for cheese, no cheese on it. I didn't really care to ask for any compensation since I rather write a poor review, but when we went up to pay and the lady asked "how was everything?" I was honest and told her about our food. She was empathetic and went to talk to someone to "see what she can do". I didn't expect anything honestly, and that's exactly what we got. She came back and said "unfortunately we can't do anything about it." They could have at least taken off the coffee and juice.

Excellent food, great service the spicy omelette was so good. My friend enjoyed the steak and eggs. I definitely recommend this place!

I’ve been to Henri’s 3 or 4 times in the past several years, always in the mornings usually Saturday. It’s always incredibly busy the time we go, but not where you would have to wait. Really always had a good experience, good food and service. This day I was driving by the Café and was hungry, it was 8 in the evening, still wanted breakfast. I walked in a less busy, not desolate by any means, restaurant like you might do 40 years ago. Sandra greeted me cheerfully and provided excellent service on every level. Christian cooked a perfect mushroom and cheese omelet, hash-browns and buscuit with gravy. It was great. Friendly, great service and food.. what else is there?

The 2x2x2x2x2 is a lot breakfast, perfect for sharing! The food here is always good, service is great and the prices aren't bad. My sister had the breakfast sampler, my nephew the chorizo and eggs. Coffee is hot and plentiful. Nothing fancy, just good food and plenty of it.

2nd time there it was fresh and delicious woke up craving a waffle the hostess was friendly and checked if we needed anything else despite being alone thank you. 👍👍👍😉

Pretty nice little dinner. Small but was packed when we got there. Fortunately there was not a line but every table was full. Came here on recommendation from a friend. I ordered the chorizo and eggs and my wife ordered ham and cheese omlet with Swiss. The chorizo and eggs were good not very spicy but it was good nonetheless. I did have a bite of the omlet and it was quite tasty as well. The coffee was good not too strong and just enough kick to get me going. I really enjoyed the potatoes that come with the chorizo. Cooked just right. Will definitely be back at some point to try their lunch menu

It's a small nice diner. Homely and homemade. Decorated with decorations your grandparents may have had. Very nice.

What would Fathers day be without being taken out to breakfast.Me the wifey and one of my daughters were getting a late start on fathers day and could not find a place with a less than 45 min wait... poor planning on our part.Then we called Henri's and the took our reservation and it was only a 25 min wait and we were 20 mins awayWe showed up just in time to get seated! SWEET!We ordered of food and it was out pretty fast for as busy as they were.I had the chicken fried steak and eggs all cooked to the perfect crispness and flavor.Elizabeth had the hash and eggs also on pointSam had scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy.the food was good and we all left in a food coma.me thinks we have a new breaky spot

Still the best place to have breakfast. Been going here since i was a kid and its still delicious and inexpensive.

Good seating, great hours, grill is right there, staff is attentive and cheerful. Food (breakfast) is solidly good: coffee, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, french toast, pancakes, etc. Usually no wait, even during some rush times.

Probably the best diner food in all of Oxnard. Everything is made up fresh and real mashed potatoes. The seasoning is incredible on all the dishes but I highly recommend their meat loaf. Well worth the stop, service is amazing.

Amazing place to go eat

I went today and my waitress Maria was very friendly, she has a bubbling personality!!!!, food was good, and I'm giving 5 stars because costumer service it's really important to me but in my opinion they should have two waitresses in the afternoon, it was kind of busy and a lot of people waiting and I think it was too much for her I mean she can handle it but I don't think it's ok to have costumers waiting... I order to go and I had a drink while waiting and forgot to take picture of my food my bad next time!☺😊

Henri's is a locals spot with a wide ranging menu from American to traditional Mexican dishes. The diner has maintained its look through hardship and remodeling providing an updated yet classic environment to "eat your heart out" in.

I just have to say wow. Have lived in Oxnard all my life and haven't went to Henri's until recently. Everything I tried was great. Also the portions are huge. Prepare to go there hungry or ready to share a plate.
